My wife and I have lived Arlington Heights area for 2 years and never ordered Chinese take-out until last weekend. Unfamiliar with the Chinese take-out restaurants in the area, we turned to Yelp to find the best one. Canton House did not disappoint! I found most of the other reviews to be spot on. The food portions are enormous! My wife and I both got the large portions and it barely looked liked we even touched our food after we finished eating dinner. One of the large portions lasted me a dinner plus TWO lunches. In regards to food, the flavoring was decent and the main reason I am only giving it 5 stars. There's a chinese place back in college called Cravings and no other place so far has compared. Some other reviewers mention the food was bland. I didn't think it was bland, however it could use a little extra seasoning/flavor. Overall a good to great chinese place considering the portion size. I will most likely being coming back in the future.

I have been eating at Canton House for40 years and have never been disappointed. Staff is friendly and always prompt. I give 5 stars; more if able.

Their food was excellent. I ordered the beef fried rice with rolls and both we're tasty. The quantity of the large rice order could feed 3 people. Great value. A must try if you like Chinese food.

The food fantastic and a very good value. The service is not only superb, but the family that owns Canton House is as friendly as they come. Always a very warm hello and thank you, every single time. A local business to support for all if the right reasons!

I usually order General Tso's Chicken from each Chinese restaurant I go to.. I must say, Canton House has the best I've tasted.
